Moyes Sellers & Hendricks Ltd.'s attorneys are exceptionally knowledgeable in the area of energy development. Shareholder Jay Moyes is at the core of our energy development team. He has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of solar, gas-fired and hydroelectric power generation, and transmission development. Jay has represented many large power development companies before the Arizona Power Plant and Transmission Line Siting Committee and the Arizona Corporation Commission, assisting these companies in obtaining Certificates of Environmental Compatibility for multiple new electric generation and transmission projects.

Both Jay and Jason Moyes handle administrative and regulatory permitting and compliance matters within these fields, for both existing organizations as well as the creation and development of new projects.

They represent and counsel organizations such as municipalities, special districts, private utilities, owners of private land developments, large agricultural operations, and electric power generation project developers.

Jay has successfully represented his clients on a variety of energy development matters before several regulatory entities. Jason has been successful in representing clients in both federal and state courts.
