Robert Skousen practices in the area of commercial litigation. Mr. Skousen joined Moyes Sellers & Hendricks as an Associate Attorney in February 2019. Mr. Skousen's practice focuses on contract disputes, though he assists partners at the firm in all practice areas. Since joining the firm, Mr. Skousen has represented clients in various matters including landlord and tenant issues, corporate disputes, and purchase contracts.
Prior to joining Moyes Seller & Hendricks, Mr. Skousen was an Associate Attorney at a large civil litigation law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Skousen's prior experience working in high-stakes accounting fraud litigation has prepared him to tackle all types of civil disputes. Before Mr. Skousen was admitted to the bar, he clerked for the Honorable Lawrence Winthrop on the Arizona Court of Appeals.
In law school, Mr. Skousen was an associate editor for Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Jurimetrics is the journal of the American Bar Association Section of Science & Technology Law. Mr. Skousen enjoys learning about emerging technologies and the relationship between the law and technology. Mr. Skousen graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2017. Mr. Skousen also attended Arizona State University for his bachelor's degree, where he was a member of the Arizona State wakeboard team.
